What should you be, a trader or an investor?
Not sure if better is the right word. A value investor (Warren Buffet) has a long-term viewpoint on investing, whereas traders have a short term timeframe.

Personally, I’m in trades anywhere from a few minutes to several months, I like to lock in profits and move on. You can see what has happened to AAPL from Oct 2018-Jan 2019 and see that long term value, you lost $$. In Warren Buffet’s case, billions of dollars from the all-time high Oct 3 2018.
“Better” isn’t the right word, understanding the “timeframe” is probably the better way to think about it.
