What is a billion dollar idea worth?

Ideas alone are like an ingredient in a recipe, not worth much on their own.

The real value is created when ideas/ingredients are mixed together and solve a problem, like making a cake can solve my “hunger pains” :). Can the sugar claim to be worth $100 — worth more than the flour and the frosting because it knows it will be mixed with other ingredients to add future value?

The ingredients alone aren’t very valuable, the talented hand that puts it all together (executes the strategy/recipe) is WHEN the value is added.
